The plant-based material also makes the lids far kinder to Earth's natural resources than traditional plastic alternatives. This will help to minimise your environmental impact, even if you can't send the lids to industrial composting centres.

Marked as being "completely compostable", it's also easy for customers to dispose of these lids into the correct waste stream.

What Are The Other Benefits Of CPLA?

As CPLA has been crystallised for added strength, these lids are more resistant to cracking, splitting or breaking when in use. The material also makes the lids heat resistant up to 90°C, so it's safe for them to be used with hot food.

Which Pots Can I Use With These Lids?

These lids are made for use with the GF046 and GF047 Vegware compostable hot food pots (sold separately). They'll also fit any other food pots in Vegware's 115-Series range.
