Weck jars are great for storing your preserves and jams, and for presenting starters, sauces and desserts in a restaurant. If you're planning on storing your food in a Weck jar for a prolonged period of time, you'll need these rubber washers to form an airtight seal and prevent bacteria from getting inside. Made from natural rubber, you won't have to worry about any chemicals getting inside either. Clamps (sold separately) are also needed to form the airtight seal.
