What is the blender base made from?

The base of the Waring BB255K is made from strong cast iron, making it incredibly durable. The weight of cast iron also helps to add to the stability of the blender during operation.

Can the blade be removed from the blending jar?

Yes, the blending jar can be fully disassembled for cleaning. This also means the blade can be replaced when required.

Does the jar have a pouring lip?

Yes, you can pour drinks straight into a glass easily with the pouring lip. The handle also helps to make this easier, although this prevents the jars being stacked. Stainless steel blending jars (sold separately) can be stacked if required.
